The BankCard

The BankCard is a true all-rounder: you can pay with it when you don't have any cash on you, even when you're abroad. You can also use it to withdraw cash from your account or print out your bank statements.

Cash around the clock

You can use your BankCard to withdraw cash from more than 57,900 ATMs of all the banks and savings banks – nationwide and around the clock.

Payments with your BankCard

• You can use your BankCard to pay in many shops and petrol stations with "electronic cash". You will need to enter your PIN into a card reader.
• You can also use your BankCard for the direct debit process. In this case you do not identify yourself with your PIN, but with your signature on a voucher.
• You can also use your BankCard abroad: you can withdraw cash from around one million ATMs worldwide which support the Maestro system. In addition, around 9.3 million merchants across the globe will accept your BankCard.
• The BankCard is also an electronic wallet: a Cash Card. With the Cash Card function you can pay small amounts, e.g. in a parking ticket machine.
